First, the self-adhesive bottle wrinkles


A customer used a self-adhesive label to stick on a wine bottle, it was fine when it was first put on, but after 24 hours, the label on the wine bottle began to wrinkle. And with the increase of time, the label folds on the bottle body become more and more serious. The customer uses self-adhesive labels made of copper sheet paper. In addition to printing, there are stamping and polishing processes in the processing process. He felt rather strange, because this kind of label is no longer the first use, in the past use of no such phenomenon. After analysis, the reason of label fold was found. When in contact with water, the self-adhesive label has been sealed with a plastic bag before water use. Therefore, the water content of the label itself is very different from the water content of the customer's workshop. Labels absorb water and expand rapidly for a period of time after labeling, resulting in wrinkles.


There are several ways to solve this problem:


1. Open the outer package of the label before labeling and put it into the labeling workshop for a period of time (more than 48 hours is recommended) so that the label can fully balance the humidity of the labeling environment. In this way, after labeling, the label will not expand and fold due to excessive water absorption.


2, change the label processing technology, you can use the film coating process to replace the glazing oil process, so as to effectively block the label to absorb external water, thereby reducing the probability of wrinkles.


3, in the printing process can be used two times to increase the moisture of the label. For example, you can use a humidifier to humidify the bottom paper of the label during label processing and die-cutting to ensure that the label is not too dry, thereby reducing the impact of external humidity changes on the label.


Second, the self-adhesive material is curled during printing and die-cutting


In the rainy season, it is also quite common for self-adhesive materials to curl during printing or die-cutting, thereby affecting the printing process. This kind of problem is especially easy to appear in the use of thin-film self-adhesive materials. Because the surface material of the film self-adhesive material is almost unaffected by external moisture, but the backing paper is often greatly affected by external moisture. In the process of processing, the base paper of the self-adhesive material absorbs moisture and expands rapidly, causing the material to curl seriously towards the surface layer. Because the customer uses a tension-free tray to collect the paper, it is almost impossible to collect the paper properly after the material is curled.


This kind of situation can be solved by the following ways:


1, strengthen the workshop temperature and humidity control, we all know that the best temperature for printing is 20-25 degrees Celsius, and the relative humidity is between 50-60%. Therefore, to make a good product, it is still necessary for the majority of enterprises to do a good job of controlling the temperature and humidity of the workshop, in order to fundamentally solve this problem.


2, for enterprises that do not have conditions for temperature and humidity control, local humidity adjustment can be used to solve the problem. For example, you can install heating pipes or hot fans in the winding parts of the device to reduce the local humidity to solve the problem.


3, if the workshop humidity is too large, you can consider opening the material packaging in the workshop 24 hours before printing use, so that the material and the workshop moisture balance. This can improve the curling problem of self-adhesive materials caused by excessive humidity to a certain extent.
